Located just 1km or a short 15 minute walk from downtown Coolum, Third bay is a spectacular, secluded location which boasts outstanding ocean views - a perfect location to have your Wedding.
Coolum's Best Kept Natural Secret
Known as ‘the bays’ to the locals, this strip of coastline just south of the Coolum Surf Club is a natural wonderland of rock pools, amazing surf, relaxing walks and beautiful scenery.
Many secret spots abound in this secret part of Coolum. Some areas are so hidden and spectacular, you’ll probably forget that you're not far from civilisation.
First and second bays are rarely crowded and mostly popular with surfers whereas third bay is secluded and private - and is officially on the Sunshine Coast Council's list of official venues to have a wedding.
The Point Coolum is the closest hotel to Third bay - we’re literally across the road. And as one of the most popular wedding venues on the coast, the convenience of literally being metres from your wedding venue will make your special day that much easier and more fun for you, your family and your friends.
Third bay not only provides a secluded, pristine back drop to your wedding, it’s also just 100m from the newly constructed whale watching platform at Second Bay - one of 11 whale viewing locations along the east coast of Australia built in the past 2 years.
Second bay provides spectacular 180 degree view of the ocean - a perfect location to spot the thousands of whales which come past us every year.
Watching whales swim past Coolum is an exhilarating experience to say the least and who knows, if you’re getting married at third bay during the whale watching season, you might see a pod on your special day!
